The Ash Project began as a desire to fulfill our mother's dreams of traveling - as unconventional as it is. Through the process it has brought peace and laughter and healing to my Sister and I. To all those who are taking this journey with us - thank you thank you thank you!
How It Works
We put a small amount of mom's ashes in a container with a screw cap. Then, when someone is traveiling to a place they love, or somewhere that is beautiful or special, they take them and spread them. Sometimes it's documented with a picture, other times a story, and sometimes just the name and date. To see where all they have traveled check Ashes Are Here tab.
Animal Kingdom at Disney World was a pretty cool place.
